This is a program where all youth are exposed to issues of racism, bias, sexism, bullying, and intolerance through video and dramatic presentations, as well as small group dialogues. A diversity conference is held each year for all youth to promote awareness of youth-related issues so that participants can return to their schools and communities to create a more inclusive environment.
The YOP staff conducts leadership development training for the youth and local school districts. This training consists of team building activities, diversity training and much more. |
